Skills Support for the Workforce (SSW)
The aim of the Skills Support for the Workforce programme is to help SME’s meet their growth objectives, by upskilling their employees.
It’s no secret that effective training develops the vital skills needed to keep employees motivated, productive and committed and that a good (or bad) manager affects employee performance, satisfaction, productivity, efficiency, turnover and the overall health of any organisation.
Research shows that employers who provide their staff with an opportunity to learn and develop, are rewarded with happier, motivated, loyal and engaged employees.

Eligibility Criteria: This programme is available to all Greater Manchester and Lancashire based SME businesses who; employ less than 250 employees and turnover less than £36m
