Skills Support for the Workforce

Upskilling Workforces & Helping Businesses Grow

If you struggle to recruit people with the skills to grow your business, we can help you do things differently.

The Skills Support for the Workforce project is funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and overseen by the Skills Funding Agency (SFA).

The Local Enterprise Partnership’s (LEP) Skills Support for the Workforce in Greater Manchester programme, compliments their broader initiative to support growth in small and medium-sized businesses throughout the region and also implement the Work and Skills Strategy.

The aim of this programme is to fund training and development programmes, delivered by approved Training Providers, to help SME’s upskill their existing workforce.

As an approved Training Provider, we deliver on this programme and work with employers to identify their skills gaps in the areas of; Management, Leadership and Staff Performance.

To date we have worked with nearly 100 local businesses and taken almost 300 learners through our ‘Managing and Leading People & Performance’ blended learning programme, receiving fantastic feedback and producing outstanding results.

And the best bit – this programme is funded by the ESF.

If you are looking to develop your First Line, Middle, or Senior Management teams, please contact us today to find out how we can help you.

Effective Management training teaches vital skills needed to keep employees motivated, productive and committed. Likewise, good communication can lead to happier, more motivated employees, especially when managers develop a habit of recognising and appreciating employee achievements.

A good (or bad) manager affects employee performance, satisfaction, productivity, efficiency, turnover and the overall health of any organisation.

If your company is in business to make a profit, it goes without saying that investing in training, financially or with your time, is a smart move.
